Industry Projects
In the span of 3 years (+3 months of internship) I've had the fortunate experience to be a contributor to a handful of exciting developmental aircraft efforts at Aurora Flight Sciences. The following are the programs I've been a part of and my role on each.

Personal Air Vehicle
Feb 2019 - Apr 2020
Technical coordinator of outsourced battery development for an experimental cert eVTOL (~800kg). Developed ATP test plans, developed shock and vibe test plans per DO-160G, and thermal runaway per DO-311A. Conducted and oversaw propulsion system integration and system readiness testing. Member of the core flight team in charge of monitoring motor and battery vitals during ground tests, post-processing data for anomalies, and troubleshooting issues in preparation for first flight.

Cargo Air Vehicle
May 2020 - Dec 2020
Design authority of inhouse battery and power distribution development for an experimental cert eVTOL. Selected cells/components/cabling, designed battery pack, analyzed vibration/stress/thermal, maintained an allocated materials budget, and derisked program critical path via developing and testing successful first articles within seven months.

Joby Aviation
Feb 2021 - Current
Joining Joby pre-SPAC merger announcement and all of the excitement that has ensued since has been one of the coolest rides I could have hoped for early in my engineering career. The quality of engineering at this company is unparalleled and I'm fortunate to be a contributing member to this historic transition to electric aviation.
